Boise – Extraordinary volunteer service from throughout Idaho was recognized last week as Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter and First Lady Lori Otter hosted the 9th annual Governor's Brightest Star Awards Ceremony at Boise State University.

Congratulations to twelve local charities selected to receive grants from the Community Focus Trust! The recipients will receive annual disbursements ranging between $2,600 and $45,000. $1.5 million will be distributed by the time the Fund sunsets in 2016.
